Ann Emmerich is a graduate of the University of Michigan (B.A.) and Marquette University Law School, where she was on the Law Review. She began her career as an Assistant Cook County State's Attorney in Chicago, Illinois where she spent 6 of her 8 years prosecuting felony cases.

Since moving to Madison, Ann has focused her practice in the insurance defense area, successfully defending a range of civil cases including civil rights, auto accidents and premise liability.

Ann has an avid interest in the outdoors and spends her free time cycling, cross country skiing and camping with her husband.
