Kelly J. Stohr received her Bachelor of Arts degree with highest honors in Biological Anthropology from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1999, and graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2004. While in law school, Kelly was an editor for the Wisconsin Law Review.
Kelly's practice includes representing individuals and small businesses in a variety of transactions, including representing creditors in bankruptcies, estate planning and probate, handling federal trademark registrations, and family law.
Kelly's experiences include:
- Assisting family law clients in a wide array of matters
- Preparation and filing of tax returns, including individual, estate and trust and estate fiduciary tax returns
- Advising clients in real estate matters, including drafting and negotiation of commercial leases
- Representation of creditors in Chapter 7, Chapter 11 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies, including adverary proceedings
- Representing clients in commerical collection matters
- Assisting clients with the design and continued compliance of employee stock option plans, including qualified plan correction before the IRS
- Assisting clients with federal trademark registration, including trademark clearance searches and trademark applications
